Rise: Let’s catch up over breakfast at the Fountain Park Restaurant located downtown. This cozy diner offers a variety of breakfast plates, burgers, and homestyle American dishes.
Morningish: After breakfast, walk across the street to the farmers market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Enjoy the scents of Peonies, Dahlias, Irises, and Sunflowers. Shop at food vendors for drinks, treats, and locally made honey. More handmade crafts are available on Saturdays.
Time for a walk: Once you’ve finished shopping for fresh vegetables, stroll over to Paradigm Coffee & Music for a delicious cup of coffee.
Play Time: Take a trip out of town and explore the whimsical botanical garden, inspired by beloved children’s literature. The vibrant and magical atmosphere of Bookworm Gardens is perfect for all ages.
After: The Acuity Flag is located nearby and is a must-see attraction. Standing almost 100 feet taller than the Statue of Liberty, it is an awe-inspiring sight. Test your skills by attempting to wrap your arms around the base and touch your fingers together.
Lunch: Order a hamburger the size of your head at Frankies Pub & Grill.
Explore: Visit the Art Preserve after lunch to see over 35 artist-built environments, including stunning paintings and intricate sculptures. The museum also features a fully decorated house exterior that is a work of art in itself.
Dinner: Why not just sit down at Il Ritrovo and indulge in their delicious wood-fired Neapolitanstyle pizza and other authentic Italian dishes?

Rise: Meet at Eb Flo for a croffle and coffee before your adventure.
Play time: The following activities are highly reliant on weather conditions, so make sure you plan them in advance. For the first option, catch some waves with EOS Surf Shop. They’ll teach you everything you need to know to hang ten. If the waves aren’t cooperating, consider sailing on the lake for a few hours. SEAS will be there to guide you and teach you the ropes. If you’re interested in exploring shipwrecks, it might be worth contacting the Great Lakes Diving Center to arrange an excursion.
Lunch: After spending some time on the water, grab lunch at Seeboth Delicatessen for a sandwich, soup, or other delectable bites.
After Lunch: If you’re still up for some adventure by the lake, head towards the lighthouse for a scenic walk. Even if you missed out on diving at a shipwreck, you can still explore the Lottie Cooper, a shipwreck showcased at the marina. While you are down by the lake, why not also walk to Blast Soft Serve for a snack before dinner.
Dinner: BoMallies offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with outdoor seating – perfect for a tranquil night out. Savor vegetarian and healthy food options that are shareable with your group as small plates.
