Welcoming Furry Friends
In Sheboygan, we understand the love between man and animal. That is why we have parks and sites that are very welcoming to your furry companions. The City has rules in place to make sure that everyone can enjoy our City Parks. Pets are prohibited in all city parks and public grounds except in designated areas.
Off-Leash Areas
Town of Wilson / Sheboygan Dog Run

Lake View Park (beach area only)
3201 Lakeshore Drive
Pigeon River Parkway
113.25 wooded acres east of the Town of Sheboygan’s Pigeon River Park. The parks are divided by a fence. Dogs are allowed off-leash in the Pigeon River Parkway. Trails are not maintained.
4001 Lakeshore Road
Unleashed pets are allowed at locations provided that they are at all times under immediate control, such as by voice command of the owner or other person physically capable of restraining the pet.
