For me, Spring isn't my favorite season, at least not the beginning of Spring. When it is first starting to warm up everything is brown and things just seem plain ugly and depressing. But when the rain comes and it's followed by warm weather I can't wait to see all the flowers in bloom and smell the soft, sweet, musky, and floral scents. It's a wonderful feeling when you can say, "Spring is in the air."
One place in Sheboygan you are sure to see beautiful blooms is Bookworm Gardens. This vibrant, playful botanic garden is inspired by children's literature, the natural world, and imagination.
This whimsical storybook garden takes your favorite children’s book, adds in the vibrant colors and texture of nature and creates a one-of-kind, come-to-life setting. Climb aboard the horse-drawn wagon and walk through the cabin at the Little House on the Prairie story. Sit in the over-sized chairs and see the playful bears with Goldilocks. Climb in to the tree with your coveted pot of honey and visit Winnie the Pooh. You will experience stories like never before. The amount of loving detail brought to life is magical for all ages.
During the Spring, I love when rain is followed by warm weather. It is the perfect opportunity to capture springtime. What could be better than seeing all the flowers in bloom and being able to smell the soft, sweet, musky, and floral scents? It's a wonderful feeling when you are able to say "Spring is in the air." Walk around Sheboygan as nature awakens this spring.
One of the few places I stopped at was Bookworm Gardens in Sheboygan. This vibrant, playful botanic garden is inspired by children's literature, the natural world, and imagination.
