Lino Ristorante Italiano

Looking for classic Italian dishes with old-world flair?  Lino Ristorante Italiano is the best place to find just that.  You’ll find excellent food and a cocktail menu that perfectly complements it.  It’s right across from Blue Harbor Resort, so you can sip a glass of wine or two without worrying about a cab ride.

Il Ritrovo Wood-Fired Pizzeria

If pizza is your love language, Il Ritrovo is your new best friend.  One of the first certified Neapolitan pizzerias in the U.S., this popular restaurant pairs wood-fired crust with Wisconsin’s finest ingredients.  Don’t be afraid to ask questions!  The friendly staff loves to talk about the mozzarella cheese, fresh ingredients, and wine pairings that make Il Ritrovo shine.

Eb Flo Coffee House

Need caffeine with a view of Sheboygan’s harbor?  Eb Flo Coffee House is a local favorite for coffee, sweet and savory Croiffles (a combination of croissant and waffle), its inviting atmosphere, and friendly service.  Grab a seat on the deck for Lake Michigan views or warm up by the fire pit.VB Eb Flo Best Restaurants

Weather Center Cafe

The Weather Center Café offers outdoor seating, a mean cup of coffee, and a light breakfast or lunch.  I enjoyed the homemade granola with my cup of decaf (menopause bladder – nuff said).  Next time I’m going to go bold and order a piece of that amazing-looking carrot cake.  Because eating cake for breakfast every so often is a must, right?

The Black Pig

For bold flavors and creative dishes, head to The Black Pig.  The atmosphere is upscale, with a gorgeous interior complete with a massive brick wall and a stained glass fixture that I love, but the vibe is casual.  Don’t miss their White Truffle and Black Pepper Bacon Fries.  These slim frites are fried to perfection and covered in shaved truffles, bacon, and fresh parmesan.  Go ahead and order a big ole serving of just these beauties for your whole meal if you wish.  Of course, then you may miss out on one of their other signature dishes, BBQ Pork Mac or the Black Pig Cheeseburger.

Harry’s Prohibition Bistro

Harry’s Prohibition Bistro is a speakeasy-style restaurant that quickly became a Sheboygan favorite for pizza and pasta.  The stained glass and massive brick wall interior make it a popular place for date night, a cocktail, or simply a unique place to grab dinner.

And take it from this Hip Grandma!  Harry’s knows how to serve up my favorite drink:  something pink and sweet, not sour!

Cocina Mi Familia

Cocina Mi Familia made me smile from the moment I arrived and saw the colorfully covered patio outside.  One step inside and I knew I had found a new Sheboygan favorite.  It feels like you’ve stepped into your favorite Mexican Auntie’s kitchen, where she’s fixing up your favorite food with flair.  You can even grab a Mexican Coke in the official glass bottle for an even more authentic kick.

Nine-O-Two on the Avenue

Nine-O-Two on the Avenue is the downtown Sheboygan restaurant that makes a perfect sandwich and top notch steak fries.  I split a Brisket Reuben and French Onion Griller with a friend — and still wanted more.  Wash it down with the fresh-squeezed lemonade.

Bo Mallies

BoMallies is a treasure all its own.  This moody pub has a supper club feel with creative small plates.  Dishes all arrive as they’re ready, so every plate feels like a surprise.  Just as I was filling up, another dish that we had forgotten to order came out!  But good news!  It was one of our faves, and we had just enough room to finish it off!  Add exceptional service, and BoMallies may just become your new fave.

Sly’s Midtown Salooon

Remember, Sheboygan is the Bratwurst Capital of the World!  Celebrate with the traditional brat plate at Sly’s Midtown Salooon.  Served with American Potato Salad and baked beans (yes, with butter on top), it’s classic Sheboygan on a plate.  Butter on my beans was new to me, but I don’t know if I can ever NOT top my beans with butter now.  In fact, I could go for some right now as I write this.

Where to Grab a Drink in Sheboygan, WI

I can’t talk about Sheboygan restaurants and not give a toast to the city’s only brewery.

3 Sheeps Brewing

3 Sheeps Brewing has earned a reputation as one of Sheboygan’s local favorites for craft beer.  The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is inviting and spacious.

Whether you’re a stout lover, a cider connoisseur, or a food truck diva like me (there’s often a food truck outside), or you want to sip something cold after a day at Kohler-Andrae State Park, 3 Sheeps Brewing is the place to be.
