DISC GOLF AT VOLLRATH PARK

Vollrath Park is located at ( 2001 N 3rd St, Sheboygan, WI 53081, USA ) and is open from 7AM-9PM.

This beautiful park is home to a dynamic disc golf course that bends through hilly woods on the shore of Lake Michigan. Vollrath Park’s disc golf course opened in 1980 and is generally considered the oldest course in Wisconsin. All 18 holes offer a unique discing experience.

I personally love to go discing with friends and family. Vollrath stands out compared to other disc golf courses because it simply is not a boring course, from woodland hills to lakeside greens, this course has it all. Vollrath is fun for the family year round, in the winter the Vollrath bowl is a perfect place to spend the day sledding. And in the summer go to Vollrath to enjoy the Monday night food trucks.

Anyone who’s done their fair share of frolfing knows that disc tend to disappear. Pro tip: use neon discs!

DON’T AIM FOR THE WATER

Seems like obvious advice, but you’d probably be surprised by how many disc are at the bottom of beautiful Lake Michigan. I still remember the feeling of throwing a disc and immediately knowing it’s heading towards the water! gulp. One time my disc magically landed on the pier jutting out into the lake..with that kind of luck I should buy some lottery tickets. Anyway, go check out Vollrath Park! 🙂
