TUSK – The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute

January 19, 2018 @ 7:30 pm - 10:00 pm

TUSK, The Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute, is the #1 Tribute to Fleetwood Mac in the world, bar none. No wigs, no backing tracks, no gimmicks, just five musicians recreating the music of Fleetwood Mac to perfection with note for note renditions that no other Fleetwood Mac tribute on the touring scene today can come close to duplicating.

TUSK covers all the great hits of Fleetwood Mac, which has featured the talents of Mick Fleetwood, Christine and John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks and others over the years. The five seasoned, well-respected musicians comprising TUSK have been making music together in various combinations and styles, in original outfits and in cover bands, for over twenty-five years.

It seemed only fitting that they should come together to form the Ultimate Fleetwood Mac Tribute, and pay homage to a group that dominated the charts during the band members’ formative years. Authentic-sounding and always respectful, TUSK leaves no stone unturned in replicating the sounds of one of the world’s best-loved, top-selling bands.

Plus special guest, Ordinary Heathens, a Trio from Milwaukee, will be the opening band! Three of Wisconsin’s most revered solo artists have joined forces to create a vocally driven Rock/Americana trio called the Ordinary Heathens. Joe Hite, Kris Crow and Phil Norby have each made names for themselves in venues throughout the Midwest, all earning accolades for their musicianship, unique vocal styles and stage performance. Joe Hite is renowned for his aggressive, yet incredibly precise and articulate piano playing and his smooth vocals. Kris also has a reputation as one of the area’s top piano players, but he has opted to showcase his talent on the acoustic guitar in the Ordinary Heathens. Whichever instrument Kris puts his hands on his powerful, soulful voice is undeniable. Phil Norby rounds out the group, bringing a country mentality to a blues/rock style of electric guitar and the same pure, emotional voice that has made him one of the area’s top solo acts. The combination of three individual styles meshes beautifully into its own distinct sound. This sound shapes their original music and has a transformative effect on each and every cover song they perform.
