Memorial Day Parade

Sheboygan’s Memorial Day celebration is a collaboration between United States Veterans and active-duty personnel, the City of Sheboygan, the Sheboygan County Veterans Service Office and Launch: Lakeland Student-Run Businesses. Kohler Credit Union is sponsoring the parade. The parade will be held on Monday, May 27, 2024, in downtown Sheboygan starting at 9:00 am with a ceremony to follow at Fountain Park.

Parade info:

  • The parade route starts at 7th Street & Center Avenue, goes north on 7th Street to Michigan Avenue, goes west on Michigan to 9th Street, goes south on 9th Street, and ends at Fountain Park.
  • If you would like to participate in the parade, please scroll down to access the registration form.
  • Please keep in mind the purpose and solemnity of the Memorial Parade when considering your entry. All entrants must reflect a Memorial Day theme and should not be solely for the purpose of advertising a for-profit venture. Parade participants will be required to be in position between 8 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Instructions and positions for the parade will be sent out closer to the parade date.

Brat Fry info:

  • Begins immediately after the parade at Fountain Park
  • 100% of proceeds will go to  the Military and Youth Foundation and Marine Corps League.

Visit Sheboygan reserves the right not to list events that are not primarily directed at promoting tourism in the area and/or are determined to be potentially controversial, political, offensive, or otherwise.

Visit Sheboygan reserves the right to accept or reject any listings and links, and to remove a listing without notice.

What generally does NOT qualify as a tourism event:

  • – Local brat fry's, picnics, class reunions, church functions, yard sales, etc.
  • – Weekly events held at your personal business.
  • – Fundraising events, non-profit gatherings, community-focused events.
  • – Political gatherings or rallies.
